Welcome
By visiting or using our Services, you expressly consent to the collection, use, storage, processing, and disclosure of your information, including personal data, as described in this Privacy Policy.
Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy are defined in our Terms of Use. If you disagree with anything in this Policy or our Terms of Use, do not access or use the Services.
How We Collect and Use Information
Analytical Information:
We may collect analytical data directly or use third-party analytical tools and services to measure usage trends and traffic on the Service. These tools collect information sent by your internet browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit and other data that helps us improve the Service. We collect and use such analytical information in an aggregated form, so it cannot easily be manipulated to identify any individual user.
Cookie Information:
Our Cookie Policy gathers all necessary information about cookies. When you access the Service, we may send one or more cookies – small text files containing a series of alphanumeric characters – to your computer to generate a unique identifier for your internet browser, help you log in more quickly, and improve your navigation on the site. We may also use cookies to gather information about how you use the Service (e.g., the pages you visit, the links you click, and your other actions on the Service), as well as to monitor or allow our business partners to monitor your use of the Service over time.
- Persistent cookies are stored on the hard drive when the user closes the browser, which can be used on subsequent visits by that user to the site. To remove these cookies, you need to follow the internet browser's instructions.
- Session cookies are temporary and disappear when the user closes the browser. You can reset your internet browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a website is sending cookies. However, some features of the Service may not function properly if the option to accept cookies is disabled. Please read our Cookie Policy for more information.
Log File Information:
Your internet browser or mobile device automatically reports log file information each time you access the Service. When you use the Service, our servers also automatically record certain log file information. These files may include data such as your web request, your internet protocol address (IP address), browser type, URLs and referring/exit pages, number of clicks, and how you interact with links on the Service, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, among other data.
Clear GIFs/Web Beacons Information:
When you access the Service, we may use clear GIFs (also known as web beacons) – which anonymously monitor the online usage patterns of our Users. Additionally, we may use clear GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to monitor which emails recipients open and which links they click. With the information gathered from these clear GIFs, we can generate more accurate reports and improve the Service.
Device Identifiers:
When you access the Service through a mobile device (including, among others, smartphones or tablets), we may remotely access, collect, monitor, and/or store one or more "device identifiers," such as a universally unique identifier (UUID). Device identifiers are small files or other similar data structures stored on – or linked to – the mobile device, which serve to identify such a device. They may take the form of data stored in connection with the device's hardware, its operating system, or other software, or data sent by Hunts.ai to the device. Additionally, these identifiers may remain on the device permanently to help the User log in quickly and improve navigation in the Service. Some features of the Service may not work correctly if there is any impediment to the use or availability of identifiers or if they are disabled.
Location Data:
When you access the Service through a mobile device, we may remotely access, collect, monitor, and/or store "location data," which includes, among others, GPS coordinates (such as latitude and/or longitude) or similar location information linked to your mobile device's location. Some features of the Service, especially those based on location, may not work correctly if there is any impediment to the use or availability of location data or if they are disabled.
Commercial and Marketing Communications:
We use the information we collect or receive, such as your email address, to communicate directly with you. We may send emails containing newsletters, promotions, and special offers. If you do not wish to receive such messages, you will have the option to unsubscribe or change your preferences. To unsubscribe from our commercial and marketing communications, send an email to contact@hunts.ai or follow the cancellation instructions provided in the body of the commercial or marketing communication you received from us.
When necessary, we may ask you to accept receiving these materials before we start sending them. We also use your information to send you Service-related emails (e.g., account verification, purchase and billing reminders and confirmations, changes/updates to Service features, and technical and security notices). It is not possible to unsubscribe from these types of emails. Additionally, you may be "found" on Hunts.ai based on the information you provided above (read "Finding your friends on the Service").
Use of Certain Service Type Information We Collect About You:
We use or may use information from cookies, log files, device identifiers, location data, and clear GIFs to:
- Remember information so that you do not have to log in again on the current visit or subsequent visits to the site;
- Provide personalized content and information;
- Provide and monitor the effectiveness of our Service;
- Monitor aggregated metrics, such as the total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns;
- Diagnose or resolve technical problems;
- Help you access your information efficiently after creating an account;
- Provide advertising content to your internet browser or device; and
- Automatically update the Hunts.ai app on your mobile devices.
Sharing Your Information
We may share your Personal Information for the purposes and entities specified below. If you choose to use our Services, we may also publish your data on the internet as described below.
- We may share your information with third-party business partners and Trusted Users for the purpose of providing the Service to you. As described in our Terms of Use, Hunts.ai may grant administrative privileges to certain Users to monitor or provide certain aspects of the Service ("Trusted Users").
- If you choose to subscribe to our newsletters, your email address will be shared with Mailchimp. Please read Mailchimp's privacy policy for details on how the service manages and protects your information.
- We work with various individuals and organizations to provide our Services to you ("Service Providers"), such as web hosting companies, data storage providers, and analytical information providers. We need to collaborate with such third-party Service Providers to help us operate, provide, and launch our Services. These third parties have limited access to your information and may only use it to perform tasks on our behalf. The information we share with Service Providers may include the data you provided to us and the data we collect about you, including personal information. We take appropriate measures to ensure that our Service Providers are required to protect your information on our behalf adequately. If we discover that a Provider is using or disclosing information improperly, we will take necessary commercial measures to terminate or correct such behavior. We share personal information with our Service Providers based on our legitimate interests in providing Services to you. Often, our contract with the Service Providers is necessary for us to provide Services to Users, especially when these companies have significant roles - such as helping us keep our Services secure and operational. In other cases, these Providers are not strictly necessary but help us improve our Service offering (e.g., helping us conduct research on ways to improve User support). In these situations, we have a legitimate interest in working with Service Providers that help us achieve such goals.
- Keep reading this Privacy Policy for more information related to third-party advertising services we use to display advertisements on the Service, as well as the information we may provide to them.
What happens if there is any change in control:
We may buy or sell/disinvest/transfer the company (including financial interests in the company) or any combination of its products, services, assets, and/or businesses. Our information, such as customer names and email addresses, User Content, and other data of users related to the Services, may be included in the items sold or transferred in these types of transactions. We may also sell, assign, or transfer such information during divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, liquidation, or similar transactions involving all or parts of the company.
Situations in which we are required to share your information:
Hunts.ai will disclose your information when legally required or subpoenaed, as well as when we have reason to believe that such action is necessary to (a) comply with applicable law and requests from law enforcement agencies; (b) enforce our Terms of Use or protect the security, quality, and integrity of our Service; and/or (c) exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Hunts.ai, our Users, and others.
Sharing certain Service Type information we collect about you:
We may share certain Service Type information, including data obtained through tools such as cookies, log files, device identifiers, location data, and clear GIFs (such as anonymous usage data, URLs, and referring/exit pages, platform types, number of clicks, etc.) with our third-party business partners for the purposes described in the section above, "How We Collect and Use Information." We may also aggregate or segment data from all personally identifiable characteristics and share this anonymized data with third parties.
Advertisements on Hunts.ai:
We may also share certain information, such as your location, your browser, cookies, and other data related to your use of our Service, with our business partners to deliver advertising content that may be of interest to you. Hunts.ai may allow third-party ad networks or servers to deliver this type of content on the Service. Such servers and networks use technologies to send ads and links that appear on the Service directly to your browser or mobile device and automatically receive your IP address. Additionally, they may use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, device identifiers, location data, and clear GIFs, as listed above) to compile information about the usage patterns and visits of the browser or device on the Service and other websites, as well as to measure the effectiveness of advertisements and personalize the content delivered to each User.
For example: Google uses DART cookies to deliver advertisements to Users through the Service. Thus, Google and its partners can serve ads to you based on your visit to the Service and other sites you have accessed. Other ad networks also use cookies, clear GIFs, and other similar mechanisms to deliver personalized advertisements through the Service. You can delete these cookies by following the instructions in this link. You can also opt-out of Google's DART cookies and cookies set by certified networks of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) at this link. By opting out, you will delete not only the cookies of the Service but also those of all sites with NAI-certified ad networks. However, you cannot opt out of networks without certification.
Please note that an advertiser may ask Hunts.ai to display an advertisement to a certain group of Users (e.g., based on demographic information or other interests). In this situation, Hunts.ai or our advertising partners determine the target audience, and Hunts.ai delivers the ad to them – but only passes on anonymous data to the advertiser. If you respond to this type of content, the advertiser or server may conclude that you fit the description of the audience they want to reach. To enhance your user experience or help us increase and measure our effectiveness, Hunts.ai may incorporate third-party code into the Service. Examples of possible third parties include:
- YouTube
These third parties may collect information about you, including your IP address and cookies, in ways that are beyond Hunts.ai's control.
Hunts.ai's Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party activities, and we cannot control such activities. Please consult the respective privacy policies of these third parties or contact them for more information.
How We Store and Protect Your Information
Storage and Processing:
Your information collected through the Service may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country where Hunts.ai or its subsidiaries, affiliates, or service providers maintain facilities. Hunts.ai may transfer information we collect about you, including your personal data, to international affiliated entities or third parties from your country of residence or jurisdiction to other countries and jurisdictions worldwide. If you are in the European Union or other regions whose data collection and use legislation differs from that of the United States, please note that we may transfer information, including personal data, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as the jurisdiction where you are located. Additionally, you authorize the transfer of information to the United States or any other country where Hunts.ai or its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, or service providers maintain facilities, as well as the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy.
Keeping your information secure:
Hunts.ai values the security of your information and uses commercially appropriate safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through the Service. To protect your privacy and security, we take appropriate measures (such as requesting the creation of a unique password) to verify your identity before granting access to your account. You are responsible for keeping
this password and other account information confidential and controlling access to your email communications received from Hunts.ai at all times. However, Hunts.ai cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us or guarantee that the information on the Service cannot be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Your privacy settings may also be affected by changes in the functionality of third-party sites and services that you may add to the Hunts.ai Service, such as social media. Hunts.ai is not responsible for the functionality or security measures of any third party.
Information compromise:
In the event of a security breach resulting in information under our control being compromised, Hunts.ai will take necessary steps to investigate the situation - and, when appropriate, notify individuals whose information may have been compromised, as well as take other actions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Your Choices Regarding Your Information
You control the information and settings of your account: you can log in to your account and change email settings at any time when you want to update account information and email communication preferences. You can also change your preferences to stop receiving our promotional emails.
We strive to process all opt-out requests as soon as possible. As mentioned above, you cannot opt-out of receiving Service-related communications (e.g., account verification, purchase and billing reminders and confirmations, changes/updates to Service features, and technical and security notices). If you have questions about how to review or modify your account information, please contact us directly at contact@hunts.ai.
Unsubscribing from information collection for Monitoring/Advertising purposes:
Refer to the technical information of your internet browser or mobile device for instructions on how to delete and disable cookies and other monitoring/recording tools. Depending on the type of device, it may not be possible to delete or disable monitoring mechanisms. Please note that disabling cookies and/or other monitoring tools prevents Hunts.ai or its business partners from monitoring your browser's activities regarding the Service, as well as the use of personalized advertising activities from third parties. However, this may also disable many of the features available in the Service. If you have questions about unsubscribing from the collection of cookies and other monitoring/recording tools, please contact us directly at contact@hunts.ai.
For how long we keep your personal information on your profile:
After the closure of your User account, Hunts.ai may retain your personal profile information for a commercially reasonable period for backup, archiving, or auditing purposes. To be clear, any information you choose to make public on the service may be irremovable.

Links to Other Sites and Services
We are not responsible for the practices of sites or services linked to or from the Service, including the information or content contained in them. Remember that our Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party sites or services you visit from our Service. Your navigation and interaction on any third-party site or service, including those with links or advertising on our site, are subject to the internal rules and policies of such third party. Additionally, you agree that we are not responsible and do not have control over any third party to whom you grant access to your User Content. If you are using a third-party site or service (such as Facebook, Google Groups, or an IRL chat system) and allow it to access your User Content, you do so at your own risk. Furthermore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to information we collect in other ways (including offline) or from sources other than the Service.

- When we rely on "consent" to process such information, the right to withdraw consent at any time. This right to withdraw consent does not affect the legality of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
The right to request erasure of your information. You may, under certain conditions, request erasure when:
- The information is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected;
- Processing of the information is based on your consent, and you withdraw it; or
- Personal data is processed by us solely based on our "legitimate interest," as mentioned above (and the other legal bases listed above do not apply), and you object to the processing of your personal data, and there is no overriding legitimate ground for such processing (such as, for example, when the processing of data is required to fulfill statutory obligations or for the defense of legal claims).
- The right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when the accuracy of such data is contested, or there is an objection. In such circumstances, we will only process such information with your explicit consent, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest;

- The information is used for direct marketing purposes. In this case, we will immediately cease processing your information for such purpose;
You have the right to lodge a formal complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of the EU member state where you reside.
Please note that the legal rights mentioned above are subject to various conditions and exceptions, including when data is used for scientific or statistical research purposes, and when exercising the right might seriously impair or hinder the achievement of such purposes.
